Implementation narrative

Problem

Indoor mall GPS drifts across floors. Wrong store context means wrong menu, prices, and coupons — and a broken first order.

Solution

A store selection map lists nearby units with distance badges. Selecting a store loads that unit's menu and promotions. Switching mid-session opens a confirmation sheet for dine-in or takeaway and warns that the current cart will clear.

Beacon-backed store context is covered in the Hangzhou case study.

Outcome
  • Browse nearby stores: Map pins and a store list with distance badges for Hangzhou units.
  • Confirm store switch: Dine-in or takeaway sheet warns that switching clears the cart.
